The Primrose can be seen flowering in the Burren from December right through to May. The Primrose is a perennial, native to Ireland. The flowers of the Primrose are yellow, 3cm across on 10cm high hairy stems. The Primrose can be found in woodland, hedges and old grassland throughout the Burren.
